Product Review: ELF Nourishing Night Cream
To start this off, it's helpful to identify your skin type first. I tend to have dry skin especially in the winter time. Oily skin is not really one of my woes (for now). That being said, I tend to gravitate towards moisturizers in a jar. It it's in a jar as opposed to a bottle, chances are the product is a bit heavier in consistency.
I normally use L'oreal Revitalift face cream, but for some reason, summer inspires me to step outside of the proverbial makeup box. I've always wanted to experiment ELF's Hydrating skin care line anyways, so I decided to save $4 and give the Nourishing Night Cream a go.
Bear in mind, I use this in the morning and night because I prefer the thicker consistency (and I don't really buy the whole trope of having an AM or PM moisturizer). I tried it this morning and I have to say, I am very impressed. It's not heavy, my skin felt very soft and hydrated afterwards, and my foundation is still wearing well despite going sans primer. I have yet to try the other products in the line, but I'll most likely try the Hydrating Serum next.
If you're not like me and prefer light weight moisturizers, ELF also has a Hydration Moisturizer with SPF 15. It comes in pump bottle form and is thinner in consistency.
